Sports
Golf Although the city has some really beautiful courses they are mostly private. The one exception is the 18-hole, par 70 Club de Golf Hacienda el Mirador, located in the hills just out of town. You can rent clubs at the course and caddies are available. Green fees are very reasonable.
Baseball The city's teams, the Sultans and the Industriales de Monterrey, are members of Mexico's professional Triple A League and play from March to August.
Bullfights The Plaza Monumental is the venue for bullfights, held every Sunday from March to December.
Charradeas Mexican cowboys, many of them businessmen and professionals in real life, compete in rodeo exhibitions most weekends, usually on Sunday.
