Destino

Acapulco is a sultry destination that offers a variety of activities, known worlwide for its spectacular bay, miles of golden beaches, shopping districts and its exhilarating nightlife. It´s been the playground for the jet setters for decades for its impeccable golf courses, countless water activities, fishing adventures and San Diego Fort History Museum. Not to mention the La Quebrada divers, who venture into the warm ocean by jumping from one of Acapulco´s famous cliff.

La Quebrada

The home of the famous divers of Acapulco who dive from a cliff that is perched approximately 150 feet above the shallow ocean. It takes a very special diver to develop the skills necessary to dive from such height into a shallow ocean, they must precisely jump to meet a incoming wave at the bottom. Divers can be seen at 1 pm and at night at 7,8,9 and 10 pm. Its one of Acapulco´s most famous attractions you cannot miss, it's even more spectacular at night when the divers carry a torch on fire when they dive.

Zocalo

The plaza set in the heart of old Acapulco its rich in culture, history and tradition. Its centerpiece is its colorful cathedral built in 1930 with its twin bell towers and a mosque style dome. You will find a variety of shops and stores, this is the perfect place to enjoy an ice cream and people watch or take in the beautiful architecture.

Fort of San Diego

Acapulco was a very important port during colonial times and was part of a major traderoute from the western world to Spain. The Fort of San Diego was built to defend the city and its port from attack from pirates or hostile nations. Today it's home to Acapulco's history museum where you can find and learn about this fascinating city and how it develop from its colonial roots.

Around the City

This vibrant city thrives on its coast and the major avenue that runs along its golden beaches, it's known as the Miguel Aleman Costera. From trendy eateries to luxury boutiques you will find it all along this major avenue and its energy continues well into late hours of the night. Caleta beach is the city's most well know beach, it is here you will find some of the first hotels ever opened and still operating. Acapulco Diamante is the city's newest development and it is here you will find the newest hotels, best restaurants and most exotic and untouched beach.
